PSGradePIC & PSGrooPIC Updated.

Hi guys/girls!

I've updated PSGradePIC adding a random dongle_id generation to prevent Sony from blocking Factory Mode for the dongle_id 0xAAAA, together with the usb_dongle_master_key found by graf_chokolo.

I've also update PSGrooPIC adding support for firmware 2.43. (Downloads on the right side of the web)

BTW, take a look on this: http://fail0verflow.com/, because maybe we won't need our dongles any more ;_).

He actualizado PSGradePIC incorporando una generación aleatoria del dongle_id para que Sony no bloquee el Factory Mode para el dongle_id 0xAAAA, junto con la usb_dongle_master_key conseguida por graf_chokolo.

También he actualizado PSGrooPIC añadiendo soporte para el firmware 2.43. (Descargas en la parte derecha de la web)

Por si alguno no se ha enterado, os recomiendo echarle un ojo a: http://fail0verflow.com/, ya que probablemente en poco tiempo no necesitemos nuestros dongles ;_).

New PSGrooPIC Compilation

Hi guys!

PSGrooPIC-PL3: I've compiled the latest PL3 version that adds support for firmware 2.70 and fixes firmware 2.76 support.
PSGrooPIC-Hermes: I've fixed the port 1 issue and increased the maximum payload size.

P.S: I know I should have done this before, but I have been busy with exams and with PSGradePIC.

EDIT: I've updated PSGrooPIC-PL3 adding firmwares 2.60 and 2.53 support, and PSGrooPIC-Hermes fixing a bug in port 1 size.

PSGrooPIC-PL3: He compilado la última versión del PL3 que añade soporte para el firmware 2.70 y completa el soporte del firmware 2.76.
PSGrooPIC-Hermes: He arreglado el problema del puerto 1 y aumentado el tamaño máximo del payload.

P.D: Sé que tenía que haber hecho esto hace tiempo, pero he estado liado con exámenes y con el PSGradePIC.

EDIT: He actualizado PSGrooPIC-PL3 añadiendo soporte para los firmwares 2.60 y 2.53, y PSGrooPIC-Hermes corrigiendo un bug en el tamaño del puerto 1.

I have updated PSGradePIC with the source that the PS3Break Team sent me. Now the code is "simpler" and it fits perfectly in PIC18F2450.

I have also added a "Make.bat" for those who haven't set up Cygwin,

He actualizado el PSGradePIC con el source que me mandó el PS3Break Team. Ahora el código es mucho más "simple" y cabe perfectamente en los PIC18F2450.

También he añadido un "Make.bat" para aquellos que no han configurado Cygwin.

Recently the PS3Break Team has adapted the PSGrade source to the PIC18F, so now you can downgrade from firmwares lower than 3.55. Probably you have already downloaded the PSGradePIC code, but I wanted to add the information to the blog :).

In addition, I must say that I have sent an email to the PS3Break Team asking them to release the source. It doesn't make any sense not to release it, because the code has been adapted to every dongle. Hope they release it :D.

EDIT: Links are changed to my Open Source build of PSGradePIC. However, this release won't fit on a PIC18F2450 (PS3Break), because it needs more memory. Have fun!

Recientemente el equipo de PS3Break ha conseguido portar el código del PSGrade al PIC18F, por lo que ya se puede hacer el downgrade desde versiones inferiores a la 3.55. Probablemente todos ya tendréis el PSGradePIC descargado, pero quería agregar la información al blog :).

He de añadir que he mandado un email al equipo del PS3Break pidiendo que hagan público el source. No tiene sentido que no lo publiquen dado que el código ha sido adaptado para todos los dongles. Esperemos que me hagan caso :D.

O hai! I've updated the PSGrooPIC adding support for the 3.41_kiosk firmware, fixing the issue with the port 1 short config descriptor, which missed one byte and increasing the maximum payload size.

PL3 has also been updated to the latest version.

O hai! He actualizado el PSGrooPIC añadiendo soporte para las consolas con firmware 3.41_kiosk, arreglando el problema con el port 1 short config descriptor en el cual faltaba un byte e incrementando el tamaño máximo del payload.

Además, el PL3 está actualizado a la última versión ;).

Okay, so many of you will know that Sony has fixed the method used to bypass the PSN checkings, so we can now go back to older (and simpler payloads, which have the exact same functions) without the debug mode patching.

As usual, downloads are on the right side of the screen. The Hermes Payload download available is also without the DEBUG mode.

I have also built the latest version of PL3, which has some improvements for firmware 3.21 and also adds firmware 3.30 compatibility.

I want to apologize for not updating the blog, but I have had a VERY BUSY week :).

Bueno, como todos ya sabréis Sony ha capado el método usado para acceder a la PSN, por lo que podemos volver a los antiguos payloads (y más simples payloads, que tienen exactamente las mismas funciones), pero sin el parcheo del modo "DEBUG".

Como siempre, las descargas están en la parte derecha. La descarga del Hermes v4B también es sin acceso a la PSN.

He aprovechado para compilar la última versión del PL3, que trae mejoras para el firmware 3.21 y se añade soporte para el firmware 3.30.

Quiero disculparme por no actualizar el blog, pero he tenido una semanita MUY OCUPADA :).

Hi again guys!

I have updated the PSGrooPIC repository and now it's compatible with the "USB MCHP Bootloader" (0x800). This was done with the help of iLLNESS (http://psx-scene.com/forums/f178/illnesss-psgroopic-hexes-information-thread-67940/).
To prevent you from having doubts on which .hex to use of the latest compilation I have updated the web that contains information about the PSGrooPIC builds (http://pl3groopic.blogspot.com/p/psgroopic-information.html).

@Developers: When the PSGrooPIC compiles it shows the firmware/payload/bootloader that its compiling on that moment. As 3 different builds (nBTL, wBTLHID, wBTLMCHP) are done for each firmware and for each Payload it delays a bit in compiling, so you can take a coffee in the meantime :D.

He actualizado el repositorio del PSGrooPIC y ahora realiza compilaciones compatibles con el "USB MCHP Bootloader" (0x800). Esto fue posible gracias a la ayuda de iLLNESS (http://psx-scene.com/forums/f178/illnesss-psgroopic-hexes-information-thread-67940/).
Para que no tengáis dudas a la hora de coger el .hex de la última compilación he actualizado la página que contiene información sobre las compilaciones del PSGrooPIC (http://pl3groopic.blogspot.com/p/psgroopic-information.html).

@Desarrolladores: Cuando el PSGrooPIC se compila muestra por pantalla el firmware/payload/bootloader que está compilando en ése momento. Como se realizan 3 builds distintos (nBTL, wBTLHID, wBTLMCHP) para cada Firmware y para cada Payload tarda un poquillo en compilar, así que podéis tomaros un café mientras tanto :D.

I've made some changes to PSGrooPIC to add compatibility with PIC18F4550 and with

PIC18F2450 (PS3Break/USBreak, which makes it also compatible with PIC18F4450).

Other change that I introduced to PSGrooPIC is a wider compatibility with LEDs. Now it suports the next ones:

1. LEDs that indicate USB traffic / Jailbreak success:
1. RC0: Pin 11
2. RB1: Pin 22
3. RB4: Pin 25
2. LEDs that indicate Jailbreak success;
1. RC1: Pin 12
2. RB5: Pin 26

I have also updated PL3 (which only has changes for firmware 3.15).

He hecho cambios al PSGrooPIC para que sea compatible con el PIC18F4550 y con el PIC18F2450 (PS3Break/USBreak, lo que lo hace también compatible con el PIC18F4450).

Otra cosa añadida al PSGrooPIC ha sido una mayor compatibilidad de LEDs. Ahora soporta los siguientes LEDs:

1. LEDs que indican tráfico USB / éxito del Jailbreak:
1. RC0: Pin 11
2. RB1: Pin 22
3. RB4: Pin 25
2. LEDs que indican éxito del Jailbreak;
1. RC1: Pin 12
2. RB5: Pin 26

Además he actualizado el PL3 (únicamente trae cambios para la 3.15).

Hi guys! I have compiled the latest version of PL3 adding the firmware 2.76. There isn't much new except for the 3.15, which has some offset changes. No need to update if you aren't on firmware 2.76/3.15.

O hai! Hay una nueva compilación de PSGrooPIC que debería solucionar los problemas con el LED de la patilla 26 que algunos tenían. También he mejorado un poquito el código y he actualizado el Payload así que por favor, actualizad :).

Tengo que decir que esta semana ha sido un poco complicada, por lo que no he podido terminar la guía sobre cómo configurar Cygwin como me gustaría (falta detallar más la parte de instalar los paquetes, con imágenes y agregar alguna cosilla como lo de los problemas con el SDK oficial). Este fin de semana intentaré acabar la guía.

Hello guys, I have compiled the latest PL3 with the NUS payload for the ones that wanted it. If you don't know the utility of this payload, keep using the dev/def payloads. Note: def/dev payload haven't changed, so there is no need to update if you had my latest build.
